A few of my students have used my personal digital SLR to take pictures and have fallen in love with taking professional quality pictures. It would be nice for them to have their own up-to-date equipment to document the school year! The addition of this digital SLR camera and memory cards will allow the students to take fantastic pictures for the yearbook, school webpage, and school newsletter publication. This will be something they can take ownership of...something they can be proud of. This camera may also serve as a tool for any budding photographer that may have the chance to be in my class!
