I am teaching children to love learning and to love themselves. I have approximately 35 students that come here day ready to take on new challenges.
My biggest goal for them is to help them strive to become better versions of themselves--academically, psychologically, physically, and spiritually.
As our school is located in a high-poverty area, teachers and students have limited materials and resources. I face the difficulty of accommodating students with multiple instructional needs while receiving little to no academic assistance outside of the school walls. I have supplied my students with snacks, clothing, and supplies to help them better achieve their academic goals. Sometimes, the financial burden is just too hard to handle alone--that is where someone like you comes in.
