Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty stricken homes. More than 99% of students receive free or reduced lunch. My classroom is a Kindergarten through 5th grade Special Education classroom. I teach students who have a wide range of cognitive and/or physical disabilities. These students come to school eager to learn everyday with big smiles on their faces regardless of their circumstances. My students experience difficulty with communication, social awareness, academics, life skills, and behavior. I want to help these students in every way that I can to help them be successful.
