These students are constantly testing and using computers. To have my own will mean my students will have many more opportunities to practice their typing, learn their vocabulary in interesting ways, and to read passages with ease on a screen. They must be able to read and type answers online before the big state test.
By donating to this project, you will be helping my seventy-five 5th graders grow in their knowledge and love of technology and reading. All of my students absolutely love using computers. No matter what it is for technology is intriguing to them. Most students have grown up around some sort of technology, but not all know how to properly use it.
I am hoping that by having computers in my room all of my students will have a better chance to learn more about computers. I hope they will also get the chance to grow in their learning by advancing in technology.
