The students in my school are placed in our building due to high behavior and emotional needs and often times require intense interventions in both academics and behavior to meet grade level standards. Many of our students come to our school having difficult school experiences already. The goal of our school is to assist students with coping techniques and behavior regulation skills so that they are able to return to their general education school building. We do this through a trauma informed approach while focusing on our students emotional needs, as well as their academic needs. A majority of our students are special education students.
About my class
