I am a third grade teacher, with 26 amazing children. We are in an inclusion environment, with regular education students and students on Individual Educational Plans. Our day is filled with engaging lessons that require collaboration with one another.
We have a great community of learners. My students are enthusiastic about learning and sharing their learning with others. They also know that in our classroom, it is okay to stumble and make mistakes as long as you try your best.
Our school is a great community that fosters the love of learning and respect of individuality. This is true not only for the students of the school, but also the educators. The administration is very supportive and welcomes passion and creativity within the classroom. Parents are very involved in the school community, as well. They are a very important part of the school and students' learning. "It takes a village," and parents are a critical piece to the puzzle.
