I teach 7th grade English Language Arts/Reading (ELAR) and 8th grade Journalism. Our middle school recently earned the exemplary title of AVID Demonstration School. AVID is an organization that focuses on college-readiness and is used for every subject at my school. I try my best to provide a well-rounded and engaging learning environment. Teaching has provided enormous joy and valuable insight in my life. Every year, I learn something new while watching students grow in so many neat ways. Being a part of that journey is only one of the many blessing teaching brings.
