My students need flexible seating options and I am hoping to create a student-centered classroom. I want to be able to offer a variety of options for students to choose from. Currently, I have pillows, classroom chairs, and a bean bag. I am looking to add Wobble Stools and Wobble Cushions. Students in class need movement and there is tremendous power in using wobble stools and wobble cushions to help with student attention, staying seated, their core strength and balance. Wobble Stools will allow individuals to rock and tilt in many directions with a unique rounded base design. Wobble Cushions are small round disks which can be very calming. Both of these options meet sensory seeker needs. Flexible seating is also motivating. It allows students to try different seating options. The different options will address different student needs and provide needed movement. All students benefit.
