My Kindergarten classroom of 23 students is in need of new tables to best fit our environment. These 3 requested tables will help create a clean, organized, and safe environment for the students of my classroom for years to come. Being a second year kindergarten teacher in a rural community, the small amount of classroom money allocated to me is spent on the basics, such as; anchor charts, headphones, book boxes, etc. Also, our county has not been able to pass a levy for the past few years.
Working and playing surfaces are essential parts of our daily routines and procedures. We have breakfast and snack at our tables each day along with the hands on activities that help enrich their learning experiences. Each table is a different color because I split my class into 4-5 color groups for Daily 5 & Daily 3 rotations. Having the specific colors helps with visual organization of the classroom and helps with the structural organization of lessons as well.
