My students are mini rays of sunshine. They illustrate pictures of themselves with large hearts and warm smiles. The economy has hit our school hard, and I am seeing more students on the poverty level.
Our school is an oasis for them. Their troubles are left at the door and we, as teachers, do everything we can to lift them academically. We are trying to teach that education is the one thing that cannot be taken from you.
I am passionate and excited about putting the GARDEN back in Kindergarten and watching kids blossom and bloom into model citizens and learners.
