I want to provide my students with an education that is fun and memorable. At the same time I want them to learn to their full capacity and become productive citizens in their community. Technology is an important part of educational world and work world. I want my students to have access to technology to meet their needs. I have subscriptions to educational web sites and the students take their state mandated tests on the computer. My students can read and write on a very basic level. They can not use a keyboard. They can use the mouse to navigate the computer, but a touchscreen will open up a world of technology that they have never experienced. Not only will they use the screen to access information, but it will prepare them for the world of work in which touchscreens are common. The students will use these computers to access educational websites, takes state mandated tests, and have fun!
