During our word work and math centers, students work on building words and developing a strong number sense. This can only be accomplished with the appropriate materials, which we are lacking in our classroom. With the addition of these materials into our classroom, our students will be able to learn letters, numbers, and sight words through fun and interactive ways. With the addition of the "soft seats" in our classroom, students will have a cozy place to sit on the floor when using all of their new manipulatives during centers.
My sweet kindergartners (and their teacher) are greatly appreciative of each and every donation towards our project. I can't wait to see how much my students will accomplish this school year with the addition of these hands on learning activities!
