I teach at a public school in a rural area of Mississippi. I have 20 students in my classroom. The requested Chromebooks would be used by all 100 of our third graders in our reading lab.
This year I teach inclusion with one third of my students receiving special education services. The majority of my students receive free or reduced price lunch. Our school has 1,020 students Pre-K through eighth grade, and is located in a predominantly low-socioeconomic area, yet has much community pride and parental support.
