As a science teacher, I am always looking for new ways to engage my students. Science is a class where kids are excited to come everyday because it is hands-on and stress free. I would use these snap circuits as part of my electricity unit. It is a way for kids to be hands on, engaged, and safe while doing so.
My students will get to explore electricity and go home at night smiling from ear to ear about all the fun they had in science class. This is a way students can work collaboratively in groups which builds community in my classroom but they are also having fun while doing so.
