I believe students at my school are incredibly hard working. Students start their school day at 7:30 and many students stay every day until 5:00pm. We believe in the power of literacy, team and family, and building character through our seven character strengths. Teachers have high expectations of their students and students work hard to achieve goals that they have set for themselves.
When I asked my students to describe themselves, this is what they came up with:
We are curious learners that ask a lot of questions.
We read a lot.
We are optimistic because when something is hard, we still try to do our best.
We have a variety of talents.
We make our school a better place by having service days and take care of our campus.
