I have a group of lively fifth grade students who really are excited to learn. Their excitement for learning only motivates me to push even further to provide them with the best instruction and resources that I can.
Our school is located in an area of low socioeconomic status and an overwhelming majority of our students are English as a second language learners (ESL). Many of our students don't get to go beyond the borders of the highways that make our community.
The students that I have this year seem to have a drive that I have never seen before in this community. They are highly motivated to succeed and do well. They just need the outlet to push them, and I believe competing in the All-Earth Ecobot Challenge will give them just that!
