They may be small, but they are mighty. My students go to school in northwest Baltimore City. In kindergarten, we welcome students from many different points in their academic careers.
For most students, due to COVID-19, this will be their first time in a school setting.
Despite their academic differences, my students are all curious, hardworking, and open-minded scholars. In kindergarten, even with masks on, we greet each other with big smiles ready and eager to learn. Throughout the day we laugh, play, sing, dance, and sometimes we even shed a tear or two, but most of all we work hard and learn.
