My students crave new books. I want to provide them with new options in genres they love. I also want them to explore genres they don't usually dip into. Book series are one of the best ways to keep my young readers engaged. All of my students have at least one book with them at all times. We use our classroom library throughout the day. Books they choose are used for book talks, book club and literature circles. The donation to this project will allow my students to experience new authors, genres, topics, characters and worlds. The books that I've chosen will enhance my library with new fiction and non-fiction titles. These books cover a variety of reading levels for a 5th grade classroom.
