My classroom is filled with eager to learn students. They are English language learners that need to be exposed to literature to enrich their vocabulary and to help them learn different writing styles. My class is part of a public school district in Texas. Our classroom demographics are 100 % Hispanic, 13 boys and 8 girls, of which a majority come from low income homes.
