These Midi keyboards will be used predominantly for two things:
1. We will use them to input music into our computer programs. The students will be able to record multiple melody lines, harmonies, and add percussion tracks.
2. Midi pianos will be attached to laptops and listened to with headphones to allow for individual practice. This allows for better differentiated instruction on piano skills- we currently share one piano. With multiple keyboards to share, the students will be able to practice more often with sound, receive audio feedback, develop their musicianship skills faster, and get individualized help more often. They're going to become better musicians faster.
We may not be destined for Carnegie Hall, but we still need to... Practice, Practice, Practice!!
About my class
