Children want to succeed and they also want some choice in doing so. With flexible seating, our kids will get to select where they think their learning will be at its best. They will pick a spot where they can focus and sustain learning for longer periods of time. This will be very motivating for them to be in a spot that is comfortable for them and make learning more engaging.
Our kids need to choose where learning will be most effective for them. This will allow areas for those kids that need movement. For example, the Kore Kids Wobble Chairs will let them get their wiggles out. Many of our kids need to move and find a hard desk chair uncomfortable and distracting.
Flexible seating can facilitate teacher-child interaction and peer-teaching on a level that surpasses the results seen in traditional teacher-fronted settings.
I am creating the circumstances where my students can learn, grow, and succeed.
