For students in my class, technology is not always easily accessible. My students come from an urban, high-need community and are enthusiastic about using technology to enhance their reading and math skills. However, many of them do not have access to technology on a regular basis. They come from homes where technology is limited and a school where access to computers is for only a few minutes each week.
My students share the same love for technology as every other kid in the world, yet are not able to express their enthusiasm due to their limited ability to "touch" technology on a regular basis.
