Problem solving is a skill that, once developed, will support my students their whole lives. These items if funded will allow my students to use creativity and design while inquiring. I am requesting a class set of Magnetic Blocks and Ozobots so the students will be able to bring stories to life and problem solve. Magnetic Blocks allow students to build in 3-dimension, and Ozobots are mini-robots where students can create codes of their own. The Ozobot will also be made available to classroom teachers to utilize in their classroom instruction. There is even a database of lesson plans that integrate Ozobots across multiple disciplines that the teachers can browse for ideas! With these materials my students will really get a chance to inquire and adapt their projects when changes are necessary.
