Schools are expected to squeeze more and more areas of learning into a limited number of minutes each day. Many, like mine, gained that time by cutting recess to a shocking 10 minutes at day, and the constant fidgeting in class is evidence that kids pay the price for this choice. Kids need to move, and wobble stools will allow them to do so while still developing their academic skills. Not only will wobble stools accommodate the need to learn and move, but it will eliminate the unpleasant nagging most children are forced to endure when told to be still.
