Students are actively learning in my classroom. They take responsibility for their academic success and are constantly seeking out new information. They are able to use manipulative to engage themselves in their daily work. They know the feeling of success and enjoyment in their academics. My students are creative, dreamers, learners, self-sufficient, responsible, respectful, and hard workers. They come from diverse economic backgrounds, where more than half of the students live in poverty. Though as a whole they work together and create an inviting and loving environment.
