My name is Kathy Anastasio, and I am the librarian at an elementary school in NJ. All of our books are in regular bookcases. We have many wonderful books, but the students always just grab the books that are on display.
My K-2 students are having a difficult time picking new books, because they can only see the spines, not the cover. Normally, for older children this isn’t a problem, but many of these students can’t read yet! I would love to get 9 of the Mobile Book Organizers, so that the books are facing forward and the children can see the covers as they browse, the way that you see the cover of a record album in a bin. Because they are on wheels, we can rearrange them when we want to do projects in the library.
