A light table will allow the students to explore with shadows, drawing and tracing, magnets, shapes, letters, water beads, etc. The students could also explore nature on the light table, like taking a closer look at leaves or bird feathers.
Light is magical! For pre-K students, if it glows, it's cool. Even students who dislike writing would love writing on top of the light and seeing their work glow. Additional light gives everything a different appearance. I think this light table would be great at beginning conversations about our five senses or differences we see with and without the light.
I'm excited for my students to explore the world with added light!
