Many of the items on this list will help the organizational and engagement needs of my students. Files boxes, a rolling cart, and a student mailbox (literature organizer) will allow my kids to have places to manage their classwork as well as their folders and papers to send home to their families. The tables and stools will allow for more flexible seating options in my classroom!
Students learn best when they are given a choice in their learning environment, and these tools will give them that freedom and engagement in the classroom.
Other supplies on my list will assist me in guiding the students in their learning, through grading work, incentives, hanging anchor charts, and teaching nonfiction texts through current events. And the games will bring them joy during recess, especially on those cold or rainy days. Thank you for taking the time to read about my students! Any help is very much appreciated!
