My students live in a very high poverty area. They are creative, enthusiastic, energetic learners that have a thirst for knowledge. Their parents chose to send them to our charter school, as we are the choice in public education. Unfortunately, their parents are unable to pay for music lessons outside of school, and the music budget here is very minimal.
