I am starting my 21st year as a teacher in Malden, MA. Lots of things have changed in those years, but my students are still the same energetic, creative, curious, and compassionate people. They have a passion to learn science. We are a STEAM school. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) We encourage our students to value the following skills such as, perseverance, communication, collaboration, compassion, and honesty. We want our students to work Smarter Together, to develop and design projects that allow them to answer scientific question. I have participated in the following educational initiatives over the years. Wipro Science Education Fellowship (SEF) at UMASS Boston to foster leadership and teacher excellence, 2012-2015, Laying the Foundation Training Program for Science Teachers 2011-present,National Science Foundation Grant WIE STEM Team at Tufts University 2005-2008, RET program.

About my class
