Help me raise my student's test scores. My students deserve materials that work and provide them the needs necessary to be successful. Students will use the headphones for completing online assessments and their weekly online math lessons. The headphones we have don't always work and students spend their time trying different headphones until they find some that work. They could have been spending this precious time focused on their math lesson. Several times a year students complete a diagnostic test online that provides valuable information for what each student knows and the growth they have made over the year. Properly working headphones will allow them to work efficiently and focus on showing their knowledge. We have lots of time of cooperative learning time in our room. However, sometimes students desire privacy or need to work independently. A classroom set of privacy screens will allow students the privacy they need to be successful instead of worrying if the student next to them is looking at their paper. Privacy screens would allow them the peace of mind to focus on their work without worrying about the student next to them copying. Dry erase boards are an essential in any classroom. Students are able to work on them and show me what they know for a formative assessment so as the teacher I can determine if they are understanding the lesson being taught. Dry erase boards can also be used for working on learning words, writing sentences and working out math problems. Dry erase boards will replace wasting a lot of paper in our classroom.
Donating headphones, privacy screens and dry erase boards to my classroom will allow my students to focus more on their learning which leads to higher test scores.
