My kindergarten students currently utilize seating options such as sitting on pillows at a low table, carpet circles and clipboards on the floor, and stools or stand up at a tall table. If we are able to receive the items requested, the students would be able to also choose to sit on a yoga ball chair, or sit on the ground to use a portable lap desk to complete work, or a bean bag chair to work comfortably in.
Even as five-year-olds, my kids are able to understand where they work their best. Not just in the "fun" chair, or in a spot close to their friend, but in a location in the room where they are comfortable learning and can complete their task independently. The products I have selected will allow all of my students, students with varying needs, to have more choice in their everyday learning. I am excited to see them to continue to grow with new seating options.
