My students are hard-working, creative young people. They like to do art, achieve new levels on video games, play football, and make each other laugh. I teach math and science in a special education setting, two 6-8th grade classes and two 9th-12th grade classes. Our school is heavily focused on college & career readiness, with upperclassmen taking community college courses and all high school students participating in supported internship opportunities. Over 90% of our students will be the first in their family to graduate from a 4-year university. 94% of our school's students receive free and reduced lunch.
