2 years ago my school brought music back for the first time in many years. These past two years my students have been using unpitched percussion instruments and sharing 8 xylophones per class to help create music. By receiving a class set of Ukuleles this allows for every student per class to play an extremely diverse instrument.
The diversity of the Ukulele is perfect for better enhancing one's musical experience.
The Ukulele can serve as a percussive instrument, at the same time it can serve as an accompaniment instrument as well as an instrument that can play the melody. These instruments will allow for more performances not only in the school but in the community. I greatly look forward to seeing how much of a positive impact such a little instrument will bring to their lives!
