Hello. I am so fortunate to work with such incredible children from the South Huntington School District. I am the Math Academic Intervention teacher and I work with students in 1st through 5th grade in two different schools in the district. Before accepting this position, I taught kindergarten, 2nd, 4th and 5th grades and I loved every second of it. One of the many things that I love about our district is the diversity. We are considered a Title 1 school which means 40% of the children are considered at the poverty level. I have the pleasure of working with children who are identified as needing support to help them build their math computation, fluency and application skills to help to meet the demands of the math curriculum.
