Enthusiastic, curious and creative describe my fabulous third grade students. These kiddos benefit greatly from the Hands On, Thematic Learning Community that is the core of our school's philosophy. We are a school of choice in a smaller community in California. My students' love of learning is infectious and has helped me further develop social studies and science units to keep up with them. Because of our school's philosophy, I am able to take my students on many "being there" experiences that feed their appetite for learning and tie into what we are studying. These students push me to be a better teacher on a daily basis and I love being able to rise to the challenge.
