My kindergarten dual language classroom is unique in that it sees two different classes of students each day. I teach content and literacy in Spanish to native Spanish and native English speakers. My students spend half of their day with me in Spanish and half of their day in English class. Teaching 50 students a day means that I need a wide range of materials to meet the needs and interests of each and every student. In my both of my classes, students love reading together and teaching one another in their native languages.
