Inquiry based learning techniques encourage engagement when teaching young students about science concepts. This includes using appropriate materials, allowing time for exploration, asking predictive questions, using science-based vocabulary and reflecting on children's understanding.
This year, we would like to focus on exploring science concepts including magnets, color and shapes, sink and float, sound, motion, magnification and life cycles!
These science stations and experiments will allow them to explore and investigate, think and create their own theories—as they complete hands-on experiments and engineering activities! The Ladybug Land will allow the children to see the cycles of life in action as the larvae eat and grow and metamorphosize into adult ladybugs!
