I want my students to look forward to coming into this classroom. Taking a 15 minute break to color and talk with open discussions about how things are going can show them it is not all about books and grade.
Having motivational posters, rewards and working outside of the box can create learning on accident! These kids need to stay in school and knowing I want them here can make the difference!
I want them to know we care about them. This is not just a job but an investment in their well being. Having supplies like paper towels and kleenex gives them necessities for daily life that sometimes I cannot afford to supply.
