A Rocketbook can complement and enhance the existing technology in our classroom by providing a portable tool that can easily be used to collaborate with partners or be taken home as a task for family involvement. These sustainable tools allow all students to be more engaged in writing as well as math and offer the reluctant student a means to be more involved and creative. Students can begin drawing with special pens, scan their pictures and upload to their personal file. Groups can collect data then represent that data in graph form, upload to a file and present to our class. The Rocketbooks are portable and can be taken on field trips or outdoors for science exploration and note taking then can be uploaded for future assignments.
I’d like to put a Rocketbook notebook in each of my student’s hands where he or she can write, sketch, formulate, tinker and dream, then upload all those ideas to the cloud and begin all over again. I will have a more efficient means of tracking and monitoring my students’ progress across the curriculum and share it with parents and administration as student work can seamlessly be uploaded to Google Classroom.
Additionally, we will cut down on the massive amount of paper with this sustainable tool and storage space that it normally requires to house the collected works of every child which enables us to be better organized and consumers of goods.
