I'd like to give my students the opportunity to have new equipment which will allow them to have more activity options when I'm not there. Both of my schools are Title 1 schools. Based on the 2017-2018 statistics, 86% and 63% of my students come from low income families. Being a Title 1 school limits what we can provide for our students.
In this case, due to our recent run in with hurricane Florence, we have lost lots of our resources. Having a set of scooters, hula hoops, and basketballs at the schools will enable the students to create new games, as well as, learning their fine motor skills. Being at two schools can be tough and I truly believe these kids deserve to have new equipment. After all of their loss, this will be a breath of fresh air! Please help me give my students this opportunity. They would truly have a ball in P.E.!
