My students and I share something in common before we even meet each other; we're all new to 5th grade! As a first-year teacher, my classroom is a little bare when it comes to storage and management. Not only do I want to grow as an educator, I want my students to feel encouraged and motivated to grow as individuals. Teaching mini-adults math, language arts, science, and social studies is important, but what about team-work, accountability, and organization skills? That's a HUGE part of being an adult, right? With this 3-drawer storage cart, students will be able to work as a team to take care of their work-space, be accountable for their work throughout the day, and organize their interactive notebooks and materials! This project will help promote teamwork, accountability, and organization in a brand new classroom! This year will be a great one for both my students and me. Together, we will create a classroom community, amazing memories, and build lifelong skills. It all start with, "Team Drawers!"
