My students live in an inner city in North Carolina. Most of my students socioeconomic background are mid to high poverty. A few of my students do not even have a permanent address, they move from house to house. The positive trait about my kids is that they do not let these issues stop them. They have a love of learning and they work hard.
We are a creative arts school; through the arts and academics, my students will be inspired to become creative problem solvers, productive citizens, and life-long learners. Their present situation should not determine their future. With the help of awesome donors like you we can change this current situation.
