My classroom is filled with a group of very diverse and inquisitive 6th graders. Their abilities, needs, and interests cover a wide range. Within my class I have special needs students, English Language Learners, students identified as talented and gifted, and everything in between. Many of these students come from low income households where technology as well as basic needs are limited. For many of them coming to school and accessing the curriculum is a challenge, which often leads to frustration and disengagement and unfortunately absenteeism is an issue. Though some students lack the motivation, all of my students are capable of success!
