By having a 3D printer, my students will be more engaged in their learning because they will take an active roll in seeing their engineering projects come to life. 3D printers are a great teaching resource with several benefits. They help to combine problem-solving skills with creativity and innovation by making learning more active and by encouraging real-world understanding by helping to put learning into context.
Additionally, 3D printers help students to analyze size, shape and movement, as well as the relationship between objects. Students are also able to analyze errors and apply what they have learned from their mistakes to make improvements.
