I teach at a high needs elementary school. Our Free or Reduced Price lunch population is at 100 percent. I am the Instructional Technology Specialist assisting with technology integration into the curriculum. I am trying to create a really cool computer lab/maker space for the students to use to investigate, create and explore with. I also head up the Courtyard Learning Garden and the Science Lab.
Its an awesome school with awesome students and staff.
The students are eager to learn and they love the opportunities I create for them. I want to take every student above and beyond the curriculum and expose them to potential career opportunities.
You should see their eyes light up with all the interesting things we do.
My principal jokingly refers to my lab as the Christmas Room and I just can't seem to find a limit to what these 8 and 9 year olds can do.
