My students live in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains, nicknamed, "Almost Heaven." The area is beautiful and made up of 70% National Forest, although they are living in a very economically challenged area. 70% of our students receive free or reduced lunch and their families are food insecure These students have hearts of gold, but do not get a lot of opportunities because of the area they live in. Any unique projects or adventures I can bring to their educational experience, is a must. These students deserve every opportunity I can provide for them. Please consider funding our projects!
