Our school is in the inner city. We have many low income and English Language learners. Due to budget constraints, our classroom finances are incredibly tight. My classroom community is built around kindness. We pledge to be kind every morning and celebrate these acts with our "Tree of Kindness." Students are asked to write their name on a leaf, snowflake, or flower depending on the season. Our classroom is literacy rich. We strive to be better readers and writers every day. We read independently, with partners and as a class. We love to enjoy great books and study the author's work to improve our own writing. I am grateful to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. Through your help, I have been able to enrich the lives of many students and continue to do so. Thanks to all of you for your support.
