These items will help develop fine motor and gross motor skills that my students need to excel in their social and emotional development.
This project will help the students in my class grow and develop functionally into our community. Sensory time, is a great way to help students on the spectrum to grow in fine motor and grow motor skills. By strengthening my students' fine motor skills, I will be able help them have the strength to grip a pencil so they can learn how to write their name or give the strength to feed themselves. One the best ways for them to grow into these skills is by playing and exploring with different sensory items. Sensory is a huge part of our day!
Students who are on the spectrum need extra sensory to help grow and develop into little humans who have a great ZEST for life!
