I teach middle school math at the same school I attended as a student, so this work is deeply personal to me. Our campus is filled with bright, resilient, and diverse students who bring energy, curiosity, and heart into the classroom every day. Many of them face significant challenges outside of school, but they continue to show up and give their best.
In our math class, we don’t just work with numbers. We build confidence, persistence, and problem-solving skills that students can carry with them far beyond the classroom. I strive to create a space that is safe, inclusive, and engaging, where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
